Dropping Out and Substitutes

If you wish to drop out of the tournament for whatever reason, please notify all of the dealers. The dealers will choose a player from the Substitute Bench, which is essentially a waiting list of players eager to jump into your place. You are not allowed to pick the substitute.

If you will be gone temporarily, you may choose someone to take your place as a substitute, or let the Dealers pick someone from the Substitute Bench. If you do not choose a substitute, the LGT will pick from the Substitute Bench.

Players who have dropped out, been eliminated, or are playing the game cannot be substitutes.

As a dropout, you will not be able to re-enter the game. But if you were gone temporarily, your spot is automatically relinquished to you again upon your return.

Permanent substitute players will take on all of your profit/debt and become official players. Otherwise, substitute players will rely on their own bank accounts.

All earnings that a substitute makes for you in a game while you are absent will be split 50/50 between the two of you upon your return, unless you did not play a single day of the game. If this is the case, then the substitute's earnings are 100% his/her own and not yours.

Achievement trophies the substitute earns are rightfully theirs.

It's basically a waiting list of players who sign up post-start date or can't join the game at the current start date.

You can avoid a Walmart player taking over your profile by picking your own substitute, but you can only do that if you will be gone temporarily. If you drop off the face of the earth due to inactivity or need to leave permanently, you'll be replaced with whoever's on our list.

After some modly discussion, we decided that the substitutes should be just as involved in the community as you all are. They won't have access to spectate any of the games, but will be able to post and socialize. A few will be joining you shortly.

I'm gonna have to have someone substitute me from July 16th (2pm CST) to July 18th (6pm CST). I'll log in if possible, but otherwise, I'd like Setsuna to sub me for the time.

Unless the game will not be cut into sections, in which case don't worry about it. I'll be here for July 15th so I'll find out then if it's cut into sections or not. But since I won't find out until then, I'd just like to make sure it's arranged.
