[glow=maroon,2,300] I also liked Eragon. I like the attention to detail and all the little pieces coming together though, so I have kept up with the series. xD
Another you might like is Pendragon. (And if that doesnt work then go for the Knight and Rogue series. All 3 books are amazing. *__*)[/glow]

Pendragon was definitely a good series! I haven't read the Knight and Rogue series, but I'll definitely keep it in mind! The character Fisk seems familiar, but I can't seem to remember what it was from... It looks like a hilarious series though, and I can't wait to read it!

[glow=maroon,2,300]It definitely is. =D I have the first two books. Sadly not the 3rd. ;__;
Also, dang it. xD I need to finish Pendragon. I stopped on like, the very last book. I probably have to go and reread all the others just so I know what is happening.
OH. Percy Jackson is one of my favorites too. ;D The first book or two are a bit.. More childish. xD But once you get passed that is it is sooo worth it. And The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner. *___*
-coughs- I shall stop spamming you with books now. xD[/glow]

Continue spamming! I'll get around to reading them sometime, and it's always good to hear what other people like! Percy Jackson was a great series, though I need to catch up with the next series...
Now for my contribution: Steven King is great, though I really love his Dark Tower series. Octavia Butler is an amazing sci-fi author, and you should look up some of her books once you get the chance. Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony is great and fits all the pieces together well. And my favorite author right now is Brandon Sanderson who wrote the Mistborn Trilogy, Warbreaker, Elantris, part of the Wheel of Time series, and he's working on a new fantasy epic: the Stormlight Archives. He's really good at world building, and his writing is great as well.

[glow=maroon,2,300] I have the first book of the 2nd series but haven't finished it yet either. xD Oh time, where have you gone?~
I have heard of the Dark Tower series, but all the others you mentioned no. O: I will have to look them up and write them down on the ever growing list of things to catch up on.
Another book, that isn't fantasy or anything, is Nathan's Run by John Gilstrap. It is more realistic fiction, but I loved it. It tugged on the heartstrings and everything. [/glow]

Dark Tower = Awesome Series
I personally find a couple of Diana Wynne-Jones books nice, such as the Howl's Moving Castle series, but some people aren't fond of her writing style...

I LOVE Diana Wynne Jones! I have a whole shelf with her books! Another good writer is Robin McKinley. Have you read any of her books?

No, but I just looked her up - I think I'll have to go see her work!
Also, this is outside of the genre you mentioned, but The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is amazing! I love most of his work as well ^^

I've heard a lot of good things about that book! Also, I'm willing to read things from any genre, though romance and most nonfiction might be put toward the end of the list...
