Round 1
"Well then, step up, step up! Pick a box, any box! Well, not any box, I guess... You! You're White! Now you, Red! Purple! Green! Yellow! Blue! Gray! Brown! Orange!" Players come up and take boxes from the new dealer as he hands them to their respective players. "What's that you say? There's no Orange? Oh... Well then, I guess we don't need this!" He tosses the orange box over his shoulder, and it smashes against the half-finished Casino, cracking in half. After looking at the pink one that he picked up immediately afterward, he tosses that as well.
"So come on now, circle up! There's seats here, and to make it easier for you, I've placed your colors at the seats. Pay attention to your numbers. You, Yellow, you're 4. Purple, you're 2. Hey 0! Get over to the White seat! And Red, take 1. Hmm... Blue goes to 5, Brown to 7, Gray to 6... Is that all? Oh, wait! Green, you take the last seat... umm... 6, 7, 0, 1, 2, 3! You take 3!"
The players file to their seats and sit down awkwardly, looking across the table at their opponents and inspecting the layout. They look at the assortment of pens and the matching colored paper assigned to everyone and try to figure out what to do next.
"We're all ready to get started then, so why don't you begin? Oh wait, are there any questions? My name? Ah yes, names... names... let's go with Alydar! Now, are you confused at all about what to do? Yes? Good! Let's begin!"
He flips over an hourglass in the center of the table and sits down on a very comfortable-looking chair that comes up from under him. "You have that much time to make your votes. Pay attention to when it runs out, because at that time I will count the votes." He immediately leans back in his chair and promptly falls asleep.
You have 48 hours from this post until this round is over. Use your time wisely, and make sure you send in a decision. However, once a decision is made, it is final. I will not be allowing you to reach into a box and take out anything that's been placed in, for obvious reasons. If you have decided on the number you will vote, please PM me (player43) with said number. If you wish to place one or more of your poker chips in a player's bin, note which bin (REMOVE or RESTRICT) and provide the number, color, player name, or any combination of the above, so long as I can figure out whose bin you're putting the poker chip(s) in.
Just a recap on the rules: RESTRICT bins change a player's vote to 0 as long as there is at least one poker chip of any color placed into that bin in that round. REMOVE bins stop a player from winning as long as there are an odd number of poker chips of any color placed into that bin in that round. An even number of poker chips would result in no removal.
And for a list of players with current status:
0. Barbaro (10) - 0 points
1. Satake Kazuyasu (10) - 0 points
2. Aisuke Setsuna (10) - 0 points
3. Kaitani Katsumi (10) - 0 points
4. Kuwabara Kimura (10) - 0 points
5. Wada Mitsuru (10) - 0 points
6. Yomohiro Rie (10) - 0 points
7. Sagaro (10) - 0 points
If the sum of the votes is evenly divisible by 8, Barbaro wins this round. If there is a remainder of 1, Satake Kazuyasu does. Similarly, Aisuke Setsuna wins for a remainder of 2, Kaitani Katsumi for a remainder of 3, Kuwabara Kimura for a remainder of 4, Wada Mitsuru for a remainder of 5, Yomohiro Rie for a remainder of 6, and Sagaro for a remainder of 7. And a total sum of 0 results in no one winning. Each vote must be between 0 and 100, or it will be changed to 0. Any decimals will be truncated at the decimal place (i.e. only integers are accepted, and even if you use a decimal, it's not going to be rounded).
I wish you good luck in the game! This round ends on March 6th at 5:01 pm GMT, whether I am on at that time to end it or not. I will not accept any PMs after that time.
