Round 6
With Alydar no longer in sight, the round ends. From above, a large clock tolls the hour. You hear a shout, and look up for the source. Hang-gliding down from the top of the huge clock on the building opposite the construction site is Alydar for some reason. He lands on top of the roulette wheel and lets go of the hang glider which hits the wall and falls. "This round is over. Who will come out victorious? Let's start with the successful remover this time, shall we?" He opens the purple VOTE bin and pulls out a sheet of paper with the number 10 written on it. The REMOVE box is empty, but the RESTRICT box contains a single yellow poker chip. Thus, the total is 0. He moves on to Kaitani Katsumi, revealing his vote of 8. Once again, the REMOVE box is empty, but the RESTRICT box contains a single yellow poker chip. "Hmm... I sense a pattern here. And deja vu. Well, there's still many more boxes, so a current total of 0 isn't horrible for you." The next is yellow, and the vote is 5. With no chips in either RESTRICT or REMOVE box, the total rises to 5. "Ah, there, see? We may have a winner this round after all! So long as the winner is not removed like last round!"
Now at Wada Mitsuru, the vote is a whopping number 0, and there are no poker chips in either the RESTRICT or REMOVE bin. Although there was a vote, the total remains 5. "Well, that's an odd number to pick, but whatever works for you!" At Yomohiro Rie, the vote is 37, but there is a yellow poker chip in the RESTRICT bin. There are no chips in the REMOVE bin. For Sagaro, the vote is 1, and the same thing happens. For the bins, there is a single yellow poker chip in the RESTRICT one. "Yes, a pattern indeed. Will it carry throughout the rest? Let's find out!" At Barbaro, there is a vote of 8, and yet another yellow poker chip in the RESTRICT bin. At Satake Kazuyasu, the vote is 32, and there is another yellow poker chip in the RESTRICT bin. Both of their REMOVE bins were empty. "Well, this is a very low-scoring round! Let's get on with revealing the winner!"
The roulette balls travels very slowly and just falls into the blue section of the roulette wheel. "Congratulations! Mr. Blue over here has snatched yet another point and gained the lead! Congratulations! For your efforts, here is a blue poker chip!" He flips a blue poker chip through the air to Wada Mitsuru who deftly catches it and places it with his poker chips. Alydar then moves to a nearby bench and lies down, apparently to get some rest.
Here are the current results:
0. Barbaro (10) - 1 point
1. Satake Kazuyasu (10) - 1 point
2. Aisuke Setsuna (7) - 0 points
3. Kaitani Katsumi (9) - 0 points
4. Kuwabara Kimura (1) - 0 points
5. Wada Mitsuru (8) - 2 points
6. Yomohiro Rie (10) - 0 points
7. Sagaro (9) - 0 points
From bins, players will receive the following poker chips at the end of the game:
Barbaro: 2 yellow, 1 blue, 1 red
Satake Kazuyasu: 2 yellow, 1 purple
Aisuke Setsuna: 2 yellow
Kaitani Katsumi: 1 brown, 1 blue, 1 yellow
Kuwabara Kimura: 1 purple
Wada Mitsuru: 1 green, 1 purple
Yomohiro Rie: 1 blue, 1 yellow
Sagaro: 1 blue, 1 white, 1 yellow
Although Wada Mitsuru has taken the lead, all hope is not yet lost. There are still 5 rounds left for someone to catch up and maybe even overtake him! Don't give up hope, and make use of your poker chips. Also, in case it wasn't made clear somehow, players may place poker chips in their own bins if they wish. Of course, if done so, they will be kept for that player until the end of the game, and that player will have less chips at his/her disposal. I wish you the best of luck in the following rounds!
Also, because of daylight savings time and general lateness on a school day for my time, the results for Round 6 will not come out until I wake up in the morning on Monday (my time: EST). However, the round still ends at normal time. You do not get any extension.
This round ends at 3:03 am GMT on March 12, 2012.
