Round 10
"...six-siven, thirteenohfour-four-five-six-seven, thirteenohfive-four-five-six-seven... Ah, I think that should be about right. Let's see how this round went, shall we?" Alydar turns off the metronome and moves around to Kaitani Katsumi to begin. The VOTE bin contains the number 8, but there are two chips in the RESTRICT bin: one white, one gray, so the total remains at 0. In addition, there is a single chip in his REMOVE bin: green. "Ah, you don't wish to win, is that right? Well, I guess no one else stopped you, so why should I? You have been successfully removed!" He flips the green tile over to black and moves on to yellow. For some reason, there is no vote for player 4, so yellow is flipped over, and the total remains at 0. There was no removal, but the RESTRICT bin contained a single gray poker chip. Next is player 5, the current leader, whose vote is 95. But with a gray poker chip in his RESTRICT bin, the total regrettably stays at 0. "I see gray is making a move here. But will she succeed?"
Next is gray whose vote of 1 miraculously escapes the mass restrictions, bringing the total up to the meager amount of 1. There are also no poker chips in her REMOVE bin, so gray remains unflipped. At Sagaro, the vote is 72, but the single gray poker chip in the RESTRICT bin keeps the total at 1. Also, there is a green poker chip in his REMOVE bin, causing the brown tile to be flipped to black. Now at Barbaro, the vote is 8. However, with yet another gray poker chip in his RESTRICT bin and a green poker chip in his REMOVE bin, the total remains at 1, and the white tile is flipped to black. Next is red whose vote of 0 is restricted by a single white poker chip, but he is not removed. Finally, at purple, there is a vote of 100 which is restricted by a single white poker chip as well as a single gray one. With no removal, the only thing left is to reveal the results.
The roulette ball drops like a weight and just barely makes it to red after starting in the black tile labeled 0. "Well, that was a - shall we say interesting? I think we shall - interesting round. An empty vote, numerous removals AND restrictions, multiple power plays, an actual winner, and now a tie for first going into the final round?!? The suspense is as heavy as this round's roulette ball! Who will emerge the winner? Will it be red? blue? both? more? Nothing is certain, and you all have a say! Make this last round count! Ahahahahahahahah!!!!!" He pulls out yet another LED display clock, this one showing milliseconds as well with many wires exiting the back in a tangle, leading under the roulette table. As he starts the countdown, the milliseconds rush by, and the clock beeps the seconds. "Now then, let's begin the final round!"
Here are the current results:
0. Barbaro (5) - 1 point
1. Satake Kazuyasu (10) - 2 points
2. Aisuke Setsuna (6) - 0 points
3. Kaitani Katsumi (4) - 1 point
4. Kuwabara Kimura (0) - 1 point
5. Wada Mitsuru (8) - 2 points
6. Yomohiro Rie (4) - 0 points
7. Sagaro (4) - 1 point
From bins, players will receive the following poker chips at the end of the game:
Barbaro: 3 yellow, 1 blue, 1 red, 1 green, 1 gray
Satake Kazuyasu: 2 yellow, 1 purple, 2 white
Aisuke Setsuna: 2 yellow, 2 white, 1 gray
Kaitani Katsumi: 2 brown, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 white, 1 green, 1 gray
Kuwabara Kimura: 1 purple, 2 brown, 1 gray
Wada Mitsuru: 3 green, 2 purple, 2 brown, 1 red, 1 gray
Yomohiro Rie: 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 brown
Sagaro: 1 blue, 1 white, 2 yellow, 2 green, 1 gray
The final round is here at last! Make it count, and make sure your chips are properly distributed for the end of the game! I would like to remind you that multiple chips may be placed in bins... Currently tied in first place by the slim lead of one point are Satake Kazuyasu and Wada Mitsuru. If another person catches up, there could be 3 winners! Or if one of them wins the next round, that player will be the sole winner! This round is pivotal and final, so make sure you do what you need to do. You do however have 48 hours for planning, pleading, and anything else you wish to do in that time.
This round and the game ends at 11:13 am GMT on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
