You've been transported by a private limousine with blacked-out windows from your home. It seems like you've been driven for hours, but you keep yourself entertained with the television programs droning on and the complimentary champagne... though it's hard to keep your nerves in check with the possibilities of what's coming up ahead.
Suddenly, the limousine parks. A plainly-masked assistant opens the door. The dusk sky has almost settled into night time around what appears to be a private luxury resort in the middle of the mountains.
You are escorted into the lobby. Here, all twelve winners of Going Postal have convened:
#01 Ito Takeshi
#06 Kaitani Katsumi
#08 Ikenishi Sada
#10 Nanahara Renn
#11 Okamoto Keisuke
#14 Fujimoto Jun
#17 Yusuke Shinko
#20 Bara Sora
#22 Takanashi Kaede
#26 Kuwabara Kimura
#32 Hayami Tenjo
#35 Aitou Kaichi
Suddenly, a grandiose pair of double doors whip open with an echoing creak. The Dealer known as Barbaro steps in.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome! As the winners of Round 1, you have been given a very special reward! The details of which I will not share just yet... because dinner has been served. Follow our assistants to the mountain-side dining room."
A feast unlike any you've ever had is served. However, barring a few whispers, the lavish dinner is uncomfortably quiet.
Without warning, masked attendants roll three carts into the room, with large chafers on each: one bronze, one silver, one gold. They line up at the front of the dining room for all of the players to see.
Barbaro follows. "Now that your dinners are finished... let us begin. Welcome to... the Negotiation Game!"
He explains the rules.
For the twelve of you, there are twelve prizes up for grabs!
The attendants open the Bronze Chafer. Five cards stand inside:
1. Revival Ticket
2. Bronze Trophy
3. ¥10M
4. BRONZE MYSTERY PRIZE
5. Switcheroo
The attendants open the Silver Chafer. Five cards stand inside as well:
5. Switcheroo
6. Silver Trophy
7. ¥20M
8. SILVER MYSTERY PRIZE
9. Debt and Collect
The attendants open the Gold Chafer. Another five cards stand inside.
9. Debt and Collect
10. Gold Trophy
11. ¥50M
12. GOLD MYSTERY PRIZE
1. Revival Ticket
For those who want to know:
Switcheroo Replace one player (including yourself) from one group with another player in a different group in Round 2.
Debt and Collect Give a player of your choice a debt of -¥15M, and if they have sufficient funds, collect that ¥15M into your own account.
MYSTERY PRIZES ...They're a mystery. Take a chance!
You now have 72 hours to decide which of the following three tiers you wish to get a prize from: the Bronze, the Silver, or the Gold. PM me, Barbaro, with your decision.
Also, during this time, you may Veto a player from getting a specific prize. So you may PM me with: "I Veto Player X from getting the ¥50M." These Vetos will remain confidential until the end of the game.
After those 72 hours, you will then have another 72 hours to decide which prize you want from the tier you have chosen. There is one catch: if two or more players choose the same prize, that prize is won by nobody. Also, if you have been vetoed from winning a certain prize, and you chose it, you will not get that prize either.
Inactivity
If you do not select a tier, you will go into the tier that the fewest players have selected. If more than one tier have equal number of players, you go into the lowest-graded option.
If you do not select a prize, you get nothing.
