We'll be holding a Practice Round before we get the game in full motion, to get you all accustomed to the game. For the Practice Round, we'll be making a few adjustments to the rules: - You each have only 1 candle, not 3.
- You will not lose money if you lose the round. Winners are paid by the LGT instead.
- If all 5 players win, the winners will each receive ¥100M, not ¥200M.
You have 48 hours to deliberate and make your decisions. PM both Barbaro and Sagaro your decision: Which player gets your candle?

Time is up! Here are the results of the practice round: Ikenishi Sada | 0 candles | from 0 people | Usagi Suzuki | 3 candles | from 3 people | Kuwabara Kimura | 1 candle | from 1 person | Aitou Kaichi | 1 candle | from 1 person | Chichuan Tai | 0 candles | from 0 people |
As things stand, Usagi Suzuki, Kuwabara Kimura and Aitou Kaichi have won this practice round, and would win a bonus. However, Ikenishi Sada and Chichuan Tai have scored 0 this round. Therefore, they get the special priviledge of making a deciding vote. Ikenishi Sada and Chichuan Tai, please decide if you wish to invert this result or not. PM Barbaro and Sagaro with your decision. If you choose to INVERT, The 3 winners listed above will not win any bonus. If you choose to PASS or ABSTAIN, the result stands, and the 3 winners earn their bonus. Please message within 24 hours. Failure to do so would render a penalty upon your pretty heads. You may abstain (explictly) if you wish, but otherwise we seek a unanimous decision. If you two do not come to a consensus, the existing arrangement stands.

l should have clarified: as this is just a practice session, the "penalty upon your pretty heads" is for dramatization purposes only. Still! Time's up, and the Zeroes have made their choice: INVERT - 2 votes. The result of the practice round has been flipped on its head. The three winners are now losers. There are no winners. This is equivalent to the "all lose" condition, therefore, none of their yen tallies change. Better luck next time! ;D Now the game begins proper. This thread is LOCKED.
