Round 2!
For the record, we got the rules for r2 from Kaede/monday early. (not monday from the casino, that was adam pretending to be her) She seemed to hand it out willy-nilly.
I was worried about my group considering that I wasn't sure if I could get enough of an alliance going, so I pushed for Kimura to use his switcheroo on someone in our group. In the end, I assume he wanted the situation between him and Usagi to remain under wraps, so yeah.
Another alliance-centric game, but the dealers had a counter-measure! They made it so that half the group won. Exactly half the group. So, an alliance larger than that would break down.
On the topic of alliances breaking down, this is when I learnt of Kimura's true identity (due to dealer muckups. But meh.)
So, our plan for this game was simple. We formed two fake alliances, got votes for team us early, then betrayed the rest of our fake teams and joined back together as the real one.
Takeshi and I betrayed ours first, which happened to include AdamKiyoshi. AdamKiyoshi then went to the other group and try to recruit. He was pretty certain I was working with Kimura, so he recruited Yusuke and Kimasu. Of course, whoops. Yusuke was my ally as well. And did a great performance of becoming the next person to get lots of votes.
Somewhere in the process, Kimura sent me a PM. From Usagi's account. Yeah... You can see the problem. But that was early in the game, and I still counted Kimura and Usagi as allies. So, I sat on it until I had reason to see that they were gonna betray me. Then it started to happen. Kimura's good guy act got weird. I looked at my list of allies, and through some random stroke of luck, I went to the one who wasn't heavily affiliated with Kimura, (at this point, I didn't know about mitsuru's involvement). I went to Sada. And Sada had some reasons for thinking Kimura and Usagi were the same person. And some other reasoning that Kimura was gonna betray me. Sure, the reasoning may have been off, but I didn't know that at the point.
So, I presented a screenshot of the PM to the dealers. And, after they had a go at me for sitting on it for approximately a fortnight, they investigated it properly. And slipped that Kimura = Forli.
So, we re-allied, and I was stuck trying to figure out what to do with Fujimoto. In the end, I explained the situation, and that was that.

One other set of things to happen during r2. This was when it became apparent that Ichii held a grudge against me. Or maybe viewed me as a threat. He started getting people to help him out in his war against me. Well, tried to. I heard from Watsuki Shichiro that Ichii was attempting to recruit Shichiro and Bara Sora. They said no. Ichii and Naito ended up losing, obviously.
Combined with some concern about Kimura, this is the point that I started talking heavily with Shichiro. That comes into play next round.

That was the convo between Yusuke and Adam (Yusuke = Yuu, Adam = Kiyoshi).
Sorry for the length.

Adam was sooo beta, lol.
Anyway, Aitou pretty much explained what happened at our round. Lots of fun and Adam trolling. What he forgot to say was that in the end, we killed Takeshi (because of her inactivity) and saved Yomohiro Rie.
I'll explain a little more about how Aitou found out about me being Forli, because he got the facts wrong. As he mentioned, he reported the PM I sent him from Usagi's account (for the record, I was at her place and thought my account was logged in) in a dick move of sorts. Instead of taking me down like a man he figured he would do that.
The dealers asked me what was up with that. I explained that I messed up and blah blah. They said alright. Then Aitou asked how was the convo going and they answered "It's going ok. Forli is giving us large amounts of cooperation.". They showed me that log (by mistake IIRC) and I freaked out. I raged and asked "You told him I was Forli?!". They said "LOL DUDE, HE HAS KNOWN THAT FOR A LONG TIME NOW." I was like oh fuck.
And then obviously went and confronted Aitou about it. The following convo happened:
And I raged. Again. Yeah, they told Aitou I was Forli. Yes, he didn't get it and yes, the dealers made me believe he knew so they pretty much made me out myself.
Edit: Actually, both dealers slipped to Aitou. It happened on the same day.
Good thing was that it stopped the inminent Aitou betrayal. Bad thing was that it killed a lot of fun. A LOT. And of course, my two best aces went down with it, as Aitou figured out that Usagi was my girlfriend after that. 'cause he knew that I had a girlfriend who read Liar Game and stuff.
I think I should explain Usagi's round 2, because it was quite interesting and she doesn't feel like showing off. Or wants me to do the typing, whatever. I'll do it later.

Now that we're in r2, I guess I should join in! This was probably my greatest success, where I tried to lead up to a great alliance that would stick to the end! Of course, my luck was horrible, and they all went inactive... literally all... at least at some point in time... So, let's start from the beginning: minigames. I worked with Rie and Setsu to make the LmGT (which, sadly, failed horribly), after getting to know them (and Sora) through the Count to 50 wars. And of course Substitute Alliance and all that... Then, Kyoko was banned, and I was offered the spot (and happily took it! ;D). Thus began the start of my involvement in the LGT2 at r2: Notoriety Game. The only person that I had any idea about in this game was Bara Sora, so I automatically wanted to work with and trust her. However, I was first approached by Kindai Ichii with a proposal for an alliance: Ichii, Naito, me vs. Sora, Renn, Kaede (yes, we only had 6 people). I agreed, figuring it was better than having no one, and I proceeded to search for some sort of strategy in the game. I found one. Yes, it's a game where only half the players win, but an alliance of half+1 will dominate the game. So I devised a strategy and presented it to my alliance of the time: Ichii and Naito, and I asked if they were okay with adding Sora into our alliance to be able to dominate the game. I also offered to be the losing player (as long as I still got my cut of 150M), since I just wanted to play the games and didn't quite care about winning the tournament at that point. They pretty much said that they had already made an alliance with Sora... and Kaede, so they didn't want me to confront Sora with the plan. They also said that I didn't have to lose as Naito would gladly take my place. And, of course, they said that my plan wasn't good enough, so they'd present Sora and I with their plan later. So, I contacted Sora about this while waiting for the plan and decided that we didn't want to bet our games on Ichii and Naito. So we prepared to contact Nanahara Renn, as we had decided that he was our safest bet. And Sora didn't like Monday/Kaede from LGT1, so she'd prefer to not work with her... Then we got the plan: So, let me take this apart as much as I can: We start by helping Kindai for 4 rounds in a row!!! Then, after trusting him completely thus far, we would have to hope that he helps us in return. When he doesn't have any reason to! And THEN, you look at the money calculations... he kinda failed there... 1.1M yen... from the 600M yen in the game... Yeah, that's gonna make us go along with the plan... So, kinda obviously, Sora and I abandoned Kindai and Naito for Renn and Kaede. Sora was okay with that as, per my plan which looked perfectly okay, we could betray Kaede at the last second and cause her to be the overall loser, if need be. We got a response from Renn, and we just went on without Kaede, knowing that it would be, at worst, a 3 vs. 3 situation. The first round went as planned, with Kaede inactive (as she was for the entire game). Kindai got pissed at us and went inactive in a hissy fit. Which caused Naito to follow in his footsteps as well. Thus, we had 3 people getting inactivity penalties and getting downvoted, while the three of us (Sora, Renn, and I) secured first, second, and third places. It was actually a pretty easy game at that point, only screwed up potentially by Kiyoshi's double whats-her-face entering in Kaede's place. When she joined, it was completely possible that she would join with Kindai and Ichii, causing a 3 vs. 3 game, with them trying to come back from their losses. However, I edited the strategy to accommodate that, where we would still win even in the worst possible situation because of the large point difference by then. So, we had a pretty easy game. Since we had 3 people, we each won 3 rounds, and I asked who they wanted to have win the game (through the last round), and they said that I should. And so I did. With the 600M, we each got 200M, for a 100M profit. Needless to say, the others got a 100M debt... and were pissed off at us. But I had done what I planned to do and had cemented a strong alliance with people who I'd hoped would work with me until the end, where we would then face off against each other. But, of course, what I plan never works out... I'll continue later with mr2 and onwards!

How to get allies, by Kindai Ichii Step one: Ask to win 600,000,000 yen. Step two: Give them 50,000 yen as proof of your honesty. Step three: Pay a full 1,100,000 yen to compensate for the fact that they're not winning. Step four: Evil laugh. You have succeeded in getting allies. You can now proceed ot be the Liar King. Nothing could possibly go wrong. Edit: Here's what happened at Usagi's Notoriety game. Usagi took the leader role here. Her alliance was Wada, Sada, Setsuna (I hooked them up, as I still was in good terms with her) and herself. The other four were Shimizu, Yutaka, Fumio and Tenjo. You could already feel the hate there. For the record, now that I think about it, the FumioWada hug drawing only happened after this game. Not after Stockpile. Things went pretty much smoothly the first three rounds. Usagi, Wada and Sada were the first three round winners. At the fourth turn, it was Setsuna's turn of winning and suddenly WOAH BETRAYAL. Sada decided she didn't like her and didn't want her winning, so she voted Tenjo up instead. However, it was a badly executed move and Setsuna won as well, while both Sada and Tenjo ended up losing votes on their own. Usagi scolded her and she apologized. The following rounds were normal. Usagi, Wada and Sada got their win again. Then, because Sada's betrayal affected Setsuna's score, she was offered two wins in a row (Round 8 and 9) as a compensation, which she accepted. At round 9, the second to last, she betrayed back. She voted down Sada and Wada. However, she was not the only betrayer. Sada didn't vote as planned again, but this time it was actually helpful. She did not vote Setsuna and therefore she had a lower score, which meant Sada and Wada didn't go down as much. Setsuna made a post on how she betrayed because she was bored. One round remained and everyone was pretty much pissed with Setsuna. So they decided to dump her and instead save Fumio, who saved Usagi and Wada at Stockpile. The counter-move was very well executed and Setsuna lost. Yes, she thought it wasn't possible. Yes, she was owned hard. Yes, she deserved it. Yes, the WadaFumio hug happened there. Fumio joined our ranks at that point. And we saw that it was good.

Nah. You're missing important steps. How to get allies, by Kindai Ichii Step 1) Ask to win 600M. Step 2) Give 50k as good will. Step 3) Pay a bit over 1M and claim it's over 100M. Step 4) Inform them that there is some BBEG (big, bad, evil guy) out there, that you are worried about. Step 5) Put the thought of being allies with the BBEG in their minds, and hope that, if they screw you over, they don't rush to BBEG. Step 6) Step 7) Profit. For the record, I actually thought Ichii hated me. There was some seriously hurt feelings when he saw what I did in r1, and sure, he said good game and the like, but I figured that he actually held some grudge, and that's why he was recruiting. This is the first time I saw this PM though. Also, I was the one who hooked them up with Setsuna. She gave three reasons for why she betrayed, and one of them was that I was the one to hook her up with the rest of the group. And since I was a filthy rotten betraying bastard (coz ichii mentioned it in a public post), she figured she couldn't trust me, and by extention, my allies. And if Setsuna is reading this, I betrayed ichii in a much more interesting way than that. Gimme some credit. I got Dance Monkey Dance for that performance.

Logging back in to just check out what's going on here... And surprised to see my name! Haha.
I shan't refute those little guiding steps you wrote about me, you've pretty much summed it up. I truly did underestimate my opponents.
What I -would- like to add is that yes, aitou deserved that dance monkey dance for betraying me so spectacularly. And i didn't really hate you from R1 so much as I was afraid of you, I've said this countless times. What I don't remember saying is calling Aitou a rotten filthy betraying bastard... But if I did, I apologise; you must understand my sentiments at that point in time.
On that note, so that I can save the trouble of scrolling through all the posts, what's next for the LGTO?

LGT3 is being planned, mostly done. The casino is acting as an interim, and can be found at lgtcasino.proboards.comYou never said anything that bad about me, but when I saw Setsuna betraying Mitsuru, based on my betraying you in R1, and combined with your attempts to recruit Shichiro and Sora against me, I figured I was being described as such. And I'm a PhD student. Although the situation is a bit weird at the moment.

What really happens: Good game, Aitou! I really look foward to playing against you again.
What Aitou sees: YOU FILTHY TRAITOR, I HOPE YOU ROT IN YOUR OWN SINS. IF I EVER FIND YOU I WILL FEST ON YOUR GUTS. DAMN YOU FOR BEING SO BALD AND AWESOME AND DAMN ME FOR BEING SO INFERIOR.
Yeah, that happened a lot. There's a reason on why everyone calls him Dr. Paranoid.
Also I'm a systems engineering student.

Aitou might be slightly paranoid and controlling... only slightly... just a bit... No hard feelings though! And what I do irl... I'm an almost-college student. Not sure what to expect with free time next year, but I'll see what I can do LGT-wise! ;D
