Well, we could never confirm our theory, but we were pretty much sure that something happened there. At least Usagi and I never bought the "Setsuna tried to kill me" thing. Mostly because at that point we got to the roleplay forum and read the thread where Rie and Setsuna invited you to the game. We figured it would be stupid to pester you to get in and then kill you.
Fujimoto telling us that Setsuna indeed tried to poison you threw us a little off, but we still never bought it.

Well, later the rivalry wasn't a lie. But, as said, neither of us wanted to finish it within a round of starting.

Man, 'Take. D: I nearly beat you too.
Ohhh, you found that, Kimura? Hey, if any of you know how to type quickly, join my roleplay. Just trust me on that. XD Anyways, other than the totally inconspicuous advertisement, what is there...
It would've been boring if I killed him so early off. Haha. That's basically why I didn't truly ally myself with anyone really...
Anyways, RR2... 'Take was the one who was really in charge of this entire mess. After throwing him my plan, I basically did nothing and let him work out the details.

Yep. Usagi was the one who found it, actually. With that, we figured you guys would ally if both of you were in danger but would otherwise compete against each other.

Hey everyone, Akamatsu here. In between Revival Round 1 and Round 2, I managed to fall asleep in my room and miss our ride to Round 2's game site. Unfortunately, that meant being disqualified from the tournament. I thought I would come back and take a quick glance at the progress of the tournament though (Congratulations, Mr. Kuwabara). I was also hoping to find some more of the great food I had here, but no one was around until the end of the game. Oh, and I can provide a bit of insight for my group's Round 1 and Revival Round 1. Round 1At the start, (Other) Kimura slipped a message under my door, asking me to cut a deal with his group. He didn't say who was in it, but I had already been speaking to Fumio before and was able to make a guess. Their domination of the voting phase helped too. They wanted me to lose on purpose, and they planned to get me the cash I needed to revive from RR1. Contracts were going to be involved, so I simply asked that they added a condition that required them to tell me the truth during the weighing portions of Round 1 (I needed to know in order to throw the game). They accepted, and I would know exactly which envelopes had cash by weighing with the following method: 1 against 2; 1 against 3; 2 against 4.By then, I learned our contract had discrepancies and could not be used. It was honestly a relief for me. I did not decide if I would throw the game or attempt to betray. Their group's intention to use a contract with my condition from before allowed me to trust the results received and gain all of my yen. However, I honestly have no idea of what went wrong within their group. Revival Round 1By RR1, I knew fully well that I was on the chopping block for elimination. I went for an open alliance with the original 6 from our group, but that went in a direction that I disliked. I stuck with Fumio and Shimizu. I do not fully remember if Shimizu was with us during night 1, but he prevented Wada from stealing and went to jail. Usagi's reluctance to steal gave Fumio a good start too. I wanted to join in on the fun though, so I decided to steal the maximum amount of cans possible (without being jailed). I sent Wada a fake copy of my intention to steal all the cans, and he backed off for the night. Real: i48.tinypic.com/2ia4nsw.pngFake: i50.tinypic.com/1zwp8h2.jpgAfter succeeding, Fumio, Shimizu, and I took turns preventing steals and taking cans. (During this game, their group tried to have some of us form another contract. I felt it gave them too much power over me though. This is why I opted for the aggressive steal instead.) Sometime during the game, Motou also joined up with us. He helped us with our little charade, and he told us about Kuwabara, his Round 1 group, and Wada's intention to eliminate us. We planned to transfer Motou cans at the end of the game. However, we screwed up a bit and someone fell asleep instead of stealing cans. Motou stole as backup and, as a result, had to be subjected to the threatening. We also screwed up at the final round. I refrained from stealing because I thought an ally would, but that gave Wada a can. Fumio gave Usagi 5, and Motou caved and gave Wada another. Usagi passed on 2 of hers to Wada too. I was sad, but I understood the move. It seems to have helped them out.

Interesting. As for what went wrong with their group... well, their round 1 was pretty much Ichiro screwing up a million times or something. I don't remember the exact reasoning for asking you to lose, but it made sort of sense. Ichiro screwed up by telling you the truth every time, even when you didn't sign the contract. The idea was that he would tell the results after you sign it, you know. But he missunderstood and stuff happened.
And then, he screwed up again by picking a retarded weighing method over of the one we suggested.
Also he posted what he was going to weigh in the round thread.
So yeah, I understand how YOU got your 100M, but any idea how did Fumio and Shimizu get it as well? Lucky guess? Also, it's funny but the fake pic never showed on the PM Wada got, if I recall correctly. I think he forgot to send in the PM that round.

I think Wada actually saw it because Fumio sent me a PM that said this: "Wada sent me that same screen grab last night! and underneath it he wrote "Does this mean you guys won't help me?"
Anyway, it could of been luck. I did not speak with Shimizu at all before RR1. Fumio and I spoke only a bit in the beginning.

Hence why I don't like Going Postal.
Welp. You should join the Casino, you were an interesting player to play against.
Also I'll post stuff about round 3 later, brace for walltext.

I do not think I am going to join the Casino, but I might try to join LGT3. I hope to stay active this time though.

Well, now that RR2 has been talked about, should we begin talking about the Mystery Round 2? Or are we keeping those secret? Oh, and Aitou: I know that I really began to stop strategizing later on, and I know that there's a lot that I don't know. Without your help, I would not have gotten to the semifinals (I never did get to the finals ), but, yeah, we'll get to that later!

Congrats to Forli!
ill add my 2 cents and disappear again, i cant remember what the round was coz i randomly jumped in to help out Dysania but the exploding boats was fun. i was really hoping theyd all explode coz i loved the idea of the tournament having like 4 people left with a few rounds to go but then i had a conscience crisis halfway through thinking about Khione so i tried turning it round but no luck. Had heaps of fun holding votes for ransom and just generally screwing with people though.
I think i was involved with a marble game as well but i got bored and left. or maybe it was a different game i dunno. See you all in LGT4 ^^

Well, since no one else appears to be going on with the big reveal, I'll continue with Mystery Round 2: Lose Your Marbles!
Unlike the other groups (which I believe were just the four winners from a group), we had 6 players: the winners from both 3-winner groups. This started as a 3 vs. 3 game, with Sora, Renn, and I strong against Kaitani, Motou Daisuke, and Myutsu Ryu. We devised a plan that I've since lost (it was on ietherpad, like most of my plans, and ietherpad crashed partway through the tourney and was never restored...).
For the first round, I think both teams had the same strategy of sending 4 whites to one player and 1 to each of the other two on the 3-player teams. This pretty much worked out well, except... Myutsu Ryu went inactive, causing Kaitani to have 2 less marbles, and Renn misunderstood the plan and sent one marble each to Sora and I. Of course, results weren't revealed until the end...
After the first round, we were struck by a surprise second round! ...and Renn had to leave, to be replaced by Ishida Katsuo. We were lucky that Ishida was willing to help us out in Renn's place, but it was nerve-wracking until then. Our plan for this round (if I remember correctly) was to have Ishida (as the newcomer) send PMs to Myutsu and Motou asking for help in exchange for his Golden Marble. However, we got no response from either...
With no response, we used a fallback plan of rotating Golden Marbles and splitting the black marbles, 2 to me (so I would likely win) and 1 to Ishida (as he was down one marble by that point, thanks to Renn's misunderstanding in the first round). The only case in which I would lose would be if Myutsu and Motou were both active and had successfully helped out Kaitani. Luckily, that was not the case.
It turned out that Myutsu and Motou were both inactive in the second round, resulting in Kaitani losing and me winning. Kaitani knew that he wasn't likely to win, so he gave me his Golden Marble for some reason...
Anyway, from this, I won 300M yen, 60M of which I owed to Sora and 60M of which I owed to Renn/Ishida. Also (and this was definitely a bad move, but I had decided that I wanted to play a game without any debt, perceived or otherwise), I transferred one of my Golden Marbles to Kaitani, meaning I went from 2 to 0... Yeah, definitely a bad move. But, hey, I was hoping it would get me in Kaitani's favor for later parts of the game. Sadly, that never panned out, and Kaitani was eliminated during the Siege Game.
So by the end of Lose Your Marbles, I was down an ally, and I really had no one to turn to. To make matters worse, the switcheroo was used on me, so I was moved away from Sora AND Aitou, whom I had been planning to work with during the third round... So my strong alliance was gone, and I had to look for a new one. But I'll reveal more in Round 3.

The other two games went roughly: Choose 1 person to sacrifice themselves. Sign contracts to move the marbles in a way such that everyone wins except that person. SURPRISE ROUND! Trade the marbles around fairly. (Contracts couldn't be used at this point, so we had to devise a system that stopped betrayals as well. Which ended up being a pass-to-the-left style system.) Trade the gold marbles around fairly. Everyone (except for the sacrificial lamb) wins.
The original plan was to transfer the money to the sacrificial lamb again afterwards, but this got killed by the dealers putting in that transfer ban.

I was the sacrificial lamb at my group. Figured I would look greedy if I didn't after getting first place at Round 2 (something Shichiro didn't notice). Instead I looked like a good guy.
Which was intentional from our part, of course. You had an ubber high profile and got first place in both of the games you played. It was only natural to assume that you were either being too skillful at deceiving, too charismatic or simply had a lot of friends. All three alternatives were not good for us, so we splitted you from your alliance and tossed you into a pack of wild wolves. Usagi was the one who switcheroo'd, in case you guys don't remember. The official pre-text for doing that was "We wanted get Kaitani off this group because he's dangerous. We didn't know who to pick from the other group so we went with you because you seem like a nice guy and we want to ally with you.". Aitou was also in that, of course.
We also had a plan with Kaitani's switcheroo, but I don't remember right now.
I'll post Blood Money soon.
